Snowstorm attacked again!!
The Kanetu highway was close due to heavy snow!!
BUT Hasegawa and I do anything for POWDER SNOW!!
We (Incl.Hasegawa's friends)went to Tenjindaira!!
Day time it was clear sky and warm day
but teh powder snow was great!!!
We enjoyed 5 high quality POWDER RUN!!

We stayed at Ikasawa-Onsen-Ryokan near Hakkaisan
BUT it didn't snow...
So, we went to Muikamachi-Minami ski area for Piyo-piyo ski.

It was a three day week end in Japan!!
BUT unfortunately I had to work both Saturday and Sunday..
AND the wheather forecast are keep saying Havy snow storm is attacking Japan Sea Side!!
I could not hold my stormg urge for the deep snow.
So I left Tokyo in late Sunday afternoon to Hakkaisan.
Oh Yes!! very very heavy snow in Niigata area.
Nishiyama was already waiting for me at the Hotel.
We met around 7pm at the hotel the we went to Urasa Ski Area for night ski!!
FEBRUARY 12 2001
We woke up 6:00 in the morning and it was still snowing heavily!!
My car was covered with snow and look like a snow ball!!
We went to Hakkaisan ski area around 7am(Gondora starts at 8:00)
and we waited #1 and #2 in line!!
It was the deepest and smoothest powder!!
We enjoyed 4 high quality powder run and finish!!

Unfortunately it did not snow in Hakkaisan area...
Just few lihgt snow in the morning...
AND it was nice n warm day....
AND MORE BAD NEWS is the Gondra did not move....
So, I hiked up the mountain for more than 1hour and
enjoyed 10cm of piyo-piyo powder!!
We stayed at the Ikasawa-Onsen-Ryokan!!
Onsen and the food was very very good!!

It was snowing very haevily in Japan Sea side...
So, Hasegawa and I went for Tenjindaira for POWDER SNOW!!
We met Mr.Marumo(Hasegawa's friend) and snowboard together.
We enjoyed 7 deep powder run!!!
JANUARY 21 2001
It was a cold stormy day..
BUT we went for Powder tree run!!
We enjoyed 4 deep fresh powder run!!
BUT hit a tree with my left leg on the last run....
It hurt very bad...so the 4th run was the last run

I was working day and night all week but I still had a lot to do!!
I gave up snowboarding for the weekend and decided to work all weekend...
So, I was working in the office around 11:30pm!!
Suddenly, I got a evil phone call from Hasegawa in Minakami,
about how he enjoyed the powder snow snowboarding in Tenjindaira this day!!
As soon as I hung up the phone, I just get out from office and drive up to Minakami!!

Oh yes!! It was great!! I enjoyed the high quality powder in Tenjindaira!!

Lu, Nishiyama, and I went to Mt.Hakkaisan again!!
Powder was not vert deep this time..
And it was crowded...All the powder was gone in less tha a hour...
So, We went under the Ropeway and enjoed the powder
BUT, As I went thru the trees, I hit my Knee vary vary hard...
It was my last run for the weekend....
We stayed at Onsen lodge to recover my knee...
