First Power of the Season!! (Hakkaisan)

December 23rd is a Holiday in Japan!! It is a Emperor's Birthday!!
I guess this is the only day that I thank to the Emperor...

And Also It is coming!! This is what we were waiting for...
The -60c freesing air and low atomospheric pressure from Russia!!
It makes heavy snow in Japan Sea side!!

Nishiyama and I grabed a board and drove up to Hakkaisan, Niigata!!
Yes!! Powder snow was up to hip level!!
And NOT MANY people were there!!
We did 5 long powder downhill and gave up!!
I got sore legs...............Maybe I getting old.....

And...Sorry!! No pictures this time !!
Powder snow was too good and forgot to take pictures!!

This was a ticket for the long powder downhill !!
And Notice the number of the ticket!! #2.
Nishiyama got the #1....
