Itchy Ride in Hitachi with B-chan!!

Hitachi Mt.Takasuzu Trail
TYPE : Loop
LENGTH : 20km
DIFFICULTY : Physically moderate / Technically Moderate (many crashes, No injury)
TROUBLE : B-chan's flat tire, B-chan&Flo lost in rain, Phreddie lost XTR brake shoe and Phreddie's poison moss rash.....
ELEVATION : Low-50m, High-623m
TIME : 3hrs
RIDERS : B-chan, Kazu, Flo, Phreddie
B-chan visiting Japan with his new SPECIALISED EPIC!!
He brought a MTB to ride with us in Japan!!
BUT...Weather forecast for the weekend was rain.....
Although the weather is not good....
It is B-chan's dream to ride with us in Japan like in the old days!!
It is the same with me!! I was not riding so often recently....
Kazu and Flo joined with us!!
the day of ride....was cloudy....
Everybody was in time and ready to ride!!
BUT.. B-chan found he got a flat tire ...And it took little time to fix it...
While I was waiting I went into bushes for warm up ride....
We started to ride....after few minutes....I felt something strange...
because my arm and shoulder were so itchy....
and....few more minutes later....I found all of my arm got red spots and itchy
Oh No....May be I touched poison ivy or poison moss...
It started to rain too....
BUT I was the only one who knows the trail....So, I cannot go back.....
Although the trail was wet and slippery, and my body was itchy, the ride was great!!
There are nice singletrack, technical downhill, stream crossing, and rocky section.
We enjoyed every part of the trail!!
After the ride, my body was covered with itchy red spots...
and I just couldn't resist scratching them...
I barely drove home but the rash didn't get any better....
Next day, I went to see a doctor....
The doctor said it is caused by mixture of poison moss and something like poison ivy..
he gave me steroid capsul and steroid cream.
and he also told me about American saying...
"Leaves three, leave them be"

Greenn is very unusual colour, but it is a demo bike colour....
So you don't see it in the street, but alway in bike shops!!
