Snowboard, Onsen, and Groumet Trip in Minakami!!

1st DAY PART1 : SNOWBOARDING @ Hakkaisan
Major snow storm attacked Japan Sea side of Japan since last year!!
Many ski area was out of service due to too much snow!!
We know there are much powder snow waiting for us!!
and..YES!! It's a three day weekend!!
So, ZZ-san, Memento and I decided to go to Minakami for snowboarding!!
and we chose Hakkai-san for the 1st day!!
(Beacuse Tenjin-Daira was closed due to too much snow......heehee!!)
Wheather forecast for the day was snow....
BUT it was nice and clear in the morning!!
Yes! we get the first gondora of the day as we planned...
BUT it was ankel powder.....
Okay it was a first day of the season and we take it easy...
and I borrowed a GENTEM snowboard to reserch my new board!!
BUT...It was not the gear...but my technique....
Both of my leg got sore after 2-3 runs...
and... I gave up little after noon....
Oh No!! Not again!! Lift chair was not in service!!
But the virgin powder snow was waiting in front of us!!
We decided to hike up to the top!!
We just arrived at the Tanigawa Ropeway station!!
Oh No!! the long course under the ropeway was closed...
They sais it will not open whole day.... beacuse of avalanche alert...

1st DAY PART2 : Missed "Chin-Chin-Tei" Ramen by a minuite!!
After the snowboarding in Hakkaisan, we decided to go to our favorite Ramen place called "Chin-Chin-Tei"!!
It took us little less than 1 hour.
BUT!! When we get to "Chin-Chin-tei", we saw a plate hanging on the door says "CLOSED"....
The restaurant closes at 14:00...and we arrived 13:58....
It was little passed their last order time....
We tried to negotiate...BUT....no luck.....tohoho...
OH NO!! We missed our groumet luch....
1st DAY PART3 : Snow Shoveling in Minakami!!
Wow!! We knew major snow storm was attacking Minakami area...
BUT!! It was way over our expectation....
Our apartment in Minakami was covered and buried in snow...
Snow was pilled up to 2nd floor and 2meters of snow on roof!!
We thought poeple were evacuated bacause of possible crash of apartment!!
Anyway we started to shoveling and tried to remeve snow and make a path to our room..
Few minutes later, people

1st DAY PART4 : Minakami Onsen.....
Oh we love this place!!
It is nice onsen and quiet and feel so good!!
Too bad that this place is getting popular...
So we need to make reservations before come....
It was very nice as usual!!

Oh we love this place!!
The quality of meat was even better than before!!
