Wet and Bloody Ride in Okutama!!

Okutama Sengen Ridge Trail
TYPE : Loop
LENGTH : 40km (25km Paved climb + 15km singletrack+)
DIFFICULTY : Physically Modrate / Pack-O-Meter 3 (many crashes)
ELEVATION : Low-100m, High-1060m
TIME : 6hrs (Too much rest....)
RIDERS : Hacci, Phreddie

It was a 3days weekend again!!
and...I got a permisson to go mountainbiking!!
BUT...Wheather forecast for the weekend was rain.....

Although the wheather is not good....It is Hacci's rare chance to go mountainbiking...
So, Hacci and I decided to go Sengen in Okutama!!
The meeting time and place was the same as usual.....

Next day...the day of ride....was cloudy....
I was at the meeting place little earlier than the meeting time.
Hacci called me one the way saying he will be little late..
And I waited more than 30 minutes....but no phone....

Hacci called 30 minutes after the meeting time and saying...
he is at the "okutama-station" where moew than 1 hour away from the meeting place!!

Man!! I did not wait for him in vain...
So I decided to start riding and waite for him at the trailhead...
It was a tough climb...but I had little time to take pictures on the way!!

We met at the trailhead 3hours later....
Hacci and I were totally out of shape and used all the stamina for climbing...
We were physically and mentally weak for singletrack ride...

The trail was wet and slippery!!
Smooth trail gets technical and technical section gets more technical!!
We barely finished all the way(There is no way out once we started.....)
We made many crashes... and my knee hurts very bad...
BUT I feel very good!!

I will start trining from tomorrow.....to enjoy the ride more next time...

It was alredy past noon....nearly 2hours behind the schedule....
