Kusatsu Hillclimb Race was my first bike race of this year!!
BUT....
I did not do enough practice before the race...
My body fat ratio is 28% and BMI(Body Mass Index) is more than 32.....
I gained a lot from last year and I was totally out of shape....

My major target for the race is finishing the race....
No... to be honest, my major reason for coming here was....
Take hot spa in Kusatsu and relax.....

On the race's day, It was warm and sunny day!!
A beautiful day for a race!!
I had no excuse for the result....

Hacci passed me during the race...It was the same as last year...
I ended up 114th place out of 160(MTB Class) and 5 minuites slower than the last year...
Oh No....I need more practice.....

1st Day : Registration Day

On the way to Kusatsu, We had yummy Japanese-Soba in Karuizawa!!
We should have had spagetti instead of soba...
BUT our main purpose was ..... Relax...

We both orderd large portion of Tempura Soba!! hee hee!!

At the Kusatsu...Lots of snow left on the mountains...

We are ready for Onsen!!

Kusatsu town was covered with "Tour de Kusatsu" flags!!

2nd Day : Race Day

Oh no!!
We don't wanna wake up...
We don't wanna ride in the race...
We don't wanna climb!!!
We just wanna sit in the hot spa and relax....

I cannot ride with the cheap breakfast like this!!

Okay...We are at the start gate!!

I had to push my bike down....hee hee...

We did not win a bingo after the race
