1st Day : 4hour Enduro Race (2Men) : Carbon + Hacci
1st Day : 4hour Enduro Race (3Men) : Bacon + Gen + Sakurai
2nd Day : Touring Rally : Carbon + Bacon + Gen

I couldn't go 14th Shimano Bikers Festival...
BUT, Here is a report from Bacon....

Hi all,

The weather was good during 2 days and the trail condition was also good this year.

1st day(Enduro),
The teams were 2-men(Brendan, Hacci) and 3-men(Gen-chan, Sakurai-san(Hacci's friend), Bacon)
After test run, we got best start position(almost top of all teams(over 200)),
and 1st riders were Brendan and Bacon. after 1st lap, Brendan kept that position,
but I was outrun by about 30 riders...so shocked!

We all did our best and almost died (the course wasn't so technical but in the race we were exhausted).
But Iron-Man Brendan sometimes rode 2-laps! We all had fun. The result were 2-men: 17th( ! ) of about
60 teams and 3-men: 44th of 122 teams (we thought it would be worse but so so).
And Hacci and Sakurai-san went home this day.

2nd day(Touring Rally)
The all distance was longer than last year(35km), on the way there were nice single track,
on-road, and steep uphill with great view of Yatsugatake, we enjoyed(but also hard).
For this race, we have to read the way to go from the map, Brendan who can't read Japanese
could read the way exactly better than Gen-chan and me, so we followed.
We couldn't go to all the checkpoint but almost all team couldn't.
And the result was good but don't know exactly because we went back before announcement
(It was so late)

The result hasn't updated on Shimano's website yet, but it would be done soon.

Sakurai-san was so nice guy, and but he made one legend.
Friday night, when Sakurai-san came to Hacci's house, he found to forget to bring the shoes.
His bike was SPD pedal, so he went back to home(Narita!!) from Hacci's house, and he arrived
the pension we stayed at 4am on Saturday. But the SPD shoes was sold at race place...
Anyway he can ride like us and good guy, I hope he could join us.
