Snow, Rain, Mud, Crashes, and Leechs (Day:1)

Kusatsu Downhill trail
TYPE : Loop (Mt.Shirane -> Kusatsu Onsen -> Mt.Shirane)
LENGTH : 45km (including 25km by taxi)
DIFFICULTY : Physically moderate / Technically Difficult (Uncountable crashes)
ELEVATION : Low-600m, High-2100m
TIME : 3hrs 30min (Incl.1hour tea break)
RIDERS : Shohei, Shinny, Hasegawa, Lee(ch)
The wheather forecast was rain for the weekend!!
BUT We don't believe wheatherman anymore!! Bacuse they were never right!!
BUT!! They were right this time!!
It was raining from the morning....
We never say NO for MTBing!! So we woke up at 5a.m. and went to Kusatsu...
Our plan for this weekend was "Long Ride"!! From Kisatu->Shima->Minakami!!
BUT It turn out "Wrong Ride"....
When we arrived at Kusatu...It was barely raining...BUT There were still some snow left!!
We never say "NO" for MTBing!! We started to ride!!
We made many crashes on snow and mud!!
and it took longer than we planned...
So we decided to chage our plan and just have some coffe and belgium Woffle at the cottage.
We rested for about an hour... Remember!! We Never Say "No" for MTBing!!
We started to go down to Kusatu town....It was snow, mud wet trail!!
We were all wet and covered with dirt and mud!!
Oh!! What a ride!!

We stayed at the oldest onsen-building in Japan in Shima-Onsen!!
